Animal Clinical Investigation (ACI) assists in the development of new treatment opportunities for pet animals through the design and implementation of prospective clinical trials. ACI's success is based on the collaboration of a dynamic group of private practice specialists and primary care veterinarians.

National Cancer Society for Animals
The National Cancer Society for Animals provides spiritual and emotional counseling to those whose animals are being treated for cancer and others who have lost their pets to cancer. This service is provided through a 24 hr/day hotline (508-285-2525 / hotline@cancer-animals.org) and through peer support groups, which can provide the resource and comfort needed in addressing grief, financial issues and the process of treatment.

Pet Cancer Foundation
The Pet Cancer Foundation is an independent, non-profit effort established to provide you, as a dog or cat owner, with a resource for learning about your pet’s cancer, receiving a free consultation with a cancer specialist and being informed of the available treatment options in partnership with your veterinarian. The foundation is sponsored by Pets Best Insurance, working to better the lives of pets and pet owners.

Veterinary Cancer Society
The Veterinary Cancer Society was formed in 1974 by an interested group of veterinary oncologists. It is a non-profit educational organization that is incorporated in the State of Illinois.

Vaccine-Associated Feline Sarcoma Task Force (VAFSTF)
A US collaborative group formed to investigate the increased incidence of soft tissue sarcomas occurring at vaccine sites in cats. The web site includes details of the task force and vaccine site recommendations.
