Dr. Kevin Knighton
Dr. Knighton graduated from Michigan State University and has been practicing since 1981. In the past 30 years he has started over 20 hospitals in multiple states. He now resides and practices here in Idaho. His special interest in veterinary medicine is surgery. In his spare time, Dr. Knighton enjoys fly fishing and traveling. He has several critters that include 3 horses, 2 goats, and his dogs Max & Cuddie.
Dr. Andrea Sparzo
Dr Andrea Sparzo is a practicing doctor as well as medical manager at our practice. She graduated with honors from Purdue University in 2002. After graduating, she spent 5 years at a busy emergency and referral veterinary hospital in Indianapolis, where she gained valuable experience treating, diagnosing and caring for a wide variety of challenging cases. In 2008, she met her husband and moved out west, longing to be closer to mountains. She ended up at All Valley Animal Care Center in 2009. Dr Sparzo enjoys AVACC because the practice allows her
to continue to practice high quality medicine and provide 24- hour care for her patients, in addition to seeing more routine cases. Dr Sparzo’s special interests include abdominal ultrasound, internal medicine, cancer treatment, and emergency medicine. In her free time she loves mountain biking, hiking and travel. She lives with her husband, 2 spoiled dogs, a siamese kitty, and her beautiful toddler son. She also excitedly awaits a baby girl due in November 2014.
Dr. Kepping grew up in the mountains of northeast Pennsylvania. After obtaining her BS in Animal Science from Cornell University in 2004, she attended the University of Pennsylvania and graduated in 2008. She completed an intensive year-long rotating small animal internship on the outskirts of NYC, and moved to Pittsburgh where she worked at a state-of-the-art emergency and referral hospital for 2.5 years prior to moving to Boise. Dr. Kepping's focus is mainly on emergency and critical care medicine, with special interests in trauma and emergency surgery. Outside of work, she enjoys traveling, skiing, mountain biking, rafting and hiking with her boyfriend and husky, Keelut.
