Doctor of Veterinary Medicine
Dr. Dale grew up in Lewiston, ID and attended college at University of Idaho in Moscow before getting his DVM degree from Washington State University in 1983. After graduating, he spent a year working in a practice in northwest Washington.
He returned to his hometown of Council and started a mixed animal veterinary hospital where he was the only praccticing doctor for 10 years. Dr. Lake then decided to expand his abilities in small animal medicine and surgery and sold his practice. He then took a position in a small animal practice in Battle Ground, WA where he worked as an associate doctor.
A large corporation purchased the hospital for which he became medical director and took a position of local president for the state corporations in Oregon and Washington. He practiced in this hospital for 23 years developing skills in advanced orthopedic surgery, laparoscopy, and endoscopy.
After deciding to go back into private practice, he started a relief veterinary practice where he worked for several veterinary hospitals in Washington state as well as the Boise area, which triggered his relationship with All Valley Animal Care Center.
He is very excited to join a practice that has the excellent technology available to be able to offer the high quality services that he is passionate about.
Dr. Lake enjoys spending time with his wife, Lynn, in Bear, ID where they are building their home on family property. He likes to build things from lumber that he harvests and mills from his timber. Dr. Lake also takes pleasure in making cabinets, fashion leather crafting items such as saddles, and really enjoys the art of brewing beer. He treasures being a grandfather of six that he can spoil and then send back to their parents. He plays a fiddle in his spare time, and loves sitting on his cabin deck with Lynn in the evenings. Like most people in the veterinary field, he has a multitude of animals, mostly rescued pets that he and his wife enjoy. He and Lynn love traveling to the Florida Keys for sun and fun.
He is very proud to be a member of the All Valley Animal Care Center team!
The perfect team to care for your pet.

Dr. Sarah Hadley grew up not too far from Boise, in the beautiful Wood River Valley. She spent her childhood with dogs, cats, a pony, and various fish and salamanders, which gave her an early start as an animal lover. She got her undergraduate degree in Studio Art (but with a generous share of science classes) at Scripps College in Claremont, California, which partly explains her lovely suturing techniques. She went to veterinary school at Colorado State University in Fort Collins, and graduated in 2004 with a focus on small animals.
She has lived in Boise since 2006, and has been with All Valley since 2013. She works at both the Federal Way and Emerald clinics, where she enjoys getting to know people and their pets and building relationships with them for wellness care, dental health, pain management, and many other services. In her time off she can be found reading, watching movies (the geekier the better), and at the gym getting in shape so that she’ll be able to keep up with her Border Collie hiking this summer. She lives in Southeast Boise with Nora, a beautiful blue-eyed fluffy cat, and Lucy the Border Collie.
Dr. Sarah Hadley is at our Emerald location on Fridays and Saturdays and at our Federal Way Location on Mondays and Tuesday, She is also the star of the "Your Pet 2Day" segment on KBOI2! Every Friday at 6:40AM she gives out helpful pets tips to the Treasure Valley. To see a few of her segments, you can visit out Pet Blog.Read More
