Doctor of Veterinary Medicine
Dr. Kathleen Zann was born and raised in Dayton, Ohio. Dr. Zann started working with animals when she was 16 years old and fell in love with veterinary medicine. She received her Bachelors degree in Animal Science in 2006 from The Ohio State University. She then went on to Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine in 2007, finishing her clinical year at Washington State University in 2011.
After graduation, Dr. Zann moved to Boise and started her veterinary career as a small animal practitioner. She started at AVACC in July 2012. She has a special interest in preventive care, emergency medicine, ultrasonography, as well as a special love for giant breed dogs. Outside of work, she can be found hiking, biking, camping, fishing, rafting, skiing, and enjoying everything the outdoors has to offer. She welcomed her baby son, Bode, to the world on Christmas Day, 2014 and, her newest family addition, baby boy Zane in October of 2016.
