To keep you and your dog safe this season, make sure: 1) Your dog is well trained and has an excellent recall. 2) Make sure your dog is well adjusted to the sound of gunfire. Dogs that aren't used to the sound can be easily spooked and run off. 3) Get your dog appropriate hunting clothing. Many stores in the area sell "hunter orange" clothing (vests, bandannas, etc.) for dogs.
