Mini Vet School

Several times a year, All Valley Pet Clinic in Emerald, hosts a one hour educational program for kids, ages 3 to 5. The Mini Vet School is a great way to reach out into the community and talk to kids about their pet's health care. Many children are afraid for their furry friends when they come to the veterinarian, it's the clinic's hope that kids become more comfortable with the veterinarian office after taking a tour, meeting a veterinarian and going over what happens when their best friend come in for a visit.

During the program, kids learn about what veterinarians look for during a basic check up, pet safety tips, what healthy teeth in dogs and cats look like, what their dog's heart sounds like and even how xrays work!

A special thanks to Tatertots Academy for choosing our clinic for their field trip!
