On very hot days, limit exercise to early morning or evening hours, and be especially careful with short-nosed pets, who typically have difficulty breathing. Asphalt gets very hot and can burn your pet's paws, so walk your dog on the grass if possible. Always carry water with you to keep your dog from dehydrating.

Zoe had had quite the journey with us! Zoe was flown to us from Halo Animal Rescue in Arizona. She had a broken jaw and was in desperate need of a dental procedure. Dr. Kevin Knighton donated his time and expertise to repair little Zoe. While Dr. Zann and the All Valley Animal Care Center team cleaned up her mouth and helped rehabilitate her.
