While this Stevens-Henager event gives kids a safe place to trick-or-treat, it also has another important goal: giving people the food and clothing they need. This outdoor event is open to the community, but hopeful participants must place 1 nonperishable food item or a gently used coat into the Salvation Army barrels at either of the 2 entrances to gain access.
Over 50 vendor---including the All Valley Animal Care Center and Rescue---will be there to distribute candy! There will also be food vendors, the pink-unicorn illustrated food truck Mythical Munchies will be on the premise offering their sourdough deep-fried peanut butter and jelly sandwiches along with their other American comfort foods.
In between the munching and candy cravings, the local high school cheerleaders will also provide entertainment.—as will the Nampa police and fire departmentwith their safety tips. Two lucky people will also win a $500 certificate from Discount Tire for their services. Be sure to enter their drawing!
So grab a costume, some food or a coat, and come on down to the Nampa satellite campus...because there are plenty of treats to go around!
